Russia is predicted to have an unenviable gas future: the share of our producers on the world stage should be halved. But, most importantly, how much is it in absolute terms.

The world energy crisis began in summer of 2021 and continues to this day. Gas quotations in the largest markets flew up that negatively affected development of gas engine direction in such regions as Europe and China. At the same time, the prospects for electric cars are not as bright as before the crisis.

In the first half of 2023, the consumption of fossil fuels in the electric power industry in the European Union decreased. There were two main reasons: growth of generation on renewable sources and general decline in demand for electric energy which is generally caused by reduction of industrial production.
